Lemon Cake


Ingredients :

» 300 gr margarine (will be softened at ambient temperature)
» 1,5 water glass granulated sugar
» 5 eggs (yellow and white parts are separated)
» 9 table spoon lemon juice
» 3 lemon rind grater
» 300 gr flour (2,5 water glass)
» 2 packages of Kent Boringer Baking Powder
» 50 gr extracted almond
» 125 gr (1 water glass) Kent Boringer Powder Sugar
» 1 lemon
» Sufficient amount of grease-proof paper


Making :

1. Whisk the margarine which is waited and softened at room temperature with granulated sugar until it gets foamy .
2. Add egg yolks one by one
3. Add 4 table spoons of lemon juice and 2 lemon rind grater.
4. Add flour, baking powder, almonds and mix them.
5. Whish the egg white until it hardens like a snow. Add it to the mixture with a wooden spoon without whisking it
6. Cover the baking tray in diameter of 25-30 cm with grease-proof paper and spread the dough.
7. Bake it for 25 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
8. After it is baked stick knife or tooth pick in various places in the surface of the cake and pour 4 table spoons of lemon juice on it.
9. Let the cake cool.
10. Mix the powder sugar with 1 table spoon of lemon juice and 1 lemon rind grater and steer it to the cake.
11. If you want you can decorate the cake with lemon slices.
